Future ideas now that we have kernel exploit - possibility of NDS emulation?

Now that great devs release the kernel exploits, just want to ask what are the realistic future hacks that may be developed...

1. i hope it should enable NDS rom emulation without needing a flash cart, seeing each NDS games on home menu...
2. cheat engine without gateway...

hmmm?what else? share your thoughts...

NOTE: i know that 3ds can run ds games on original cart, but what i mean is "possibility of NDS ROM emulation", hope...
