nds-bootstrap loader: Run commercial NDS backups from an SD Card

nds-bootstrap:

Thanks to the work of ahezard, Gericom, Apache, Robz8, _catcatcat, and shutterbug2000 and other contributors, we can now load NDS games from the SD card, without any flashcard/SLOT-1 card.

Don't expect high compatibility, but do expect many, many updates.

Does every one else's homebrew crash!

I have tried a few homebrew games on my 3ds

one of them scummvm I wanted to play that emulator so I tried a game and it crashed, it is not just one game but a lot of homebrew.
the error is a screen with loads of numbers if that helps then says save crash report, I just want to know that I am not a lone on this one?
and I guess that I could play with retroarch dosbox instead of scummvm, I need to look into how to play that core.

I do hope my retro arch will not let me down, all the 3ds...

[RELEASE] ctrQuake - Quake 1 port

This is a work in progress port of "winQuake" to the 3DS. This only has software rendering for now, so no 3D feature.

This has been tested on a N3DS v9.4 and a 2DS v9.0
Performance on O3DS and 2DS is good

To use mods: place mod folder in the same directory as ctrQuake.3dsx and create a shortcut with the folder name as argument. See github repo for an example shortcut

The download includes the shareware version of quake.

Version 0.8 now up !

I was just wondering if there is a way to use my Luma game patches for SM/USUM on Citra. Like randomization and trainer tweaks.

I've been trying hard to compile a remake of SmashBrosDummy, and GridLauncher v2 without errors. If somebody can compile those 2 attachments into a CIA format, that would be appreciated.

Hey there, I've been programming this thing for over 6 months and finally got something "notable" working!

Usage Guide:
1. Compile this C# code https://gist.github.com/Cyuubi/af024aab0bf8f92ad6ad322d350c1631
2. Take your beatmap .osu file and remove everything except for the stuff below [HitObjects] (and also remove [HitObjects] its self!)
3. Save this file and call it BeatmapData.csv and move it to where you compiled that C# at
4. Open a Command Prompt (or equivalent) and...

This is a save manager you can install as a CIA. This means no more booting into the homebrew menu and rebooting to import and export saves.

Testing has shown that it doesn't appear to have any problems with any titles. Thanks to @Gocario, it will automatically delete any secure values.
It can also export and import ExtData IF the title uses it.

I've made it as simple as I can, while keeping the slot feature from my old save manager.

Ninjhax on New Nintendo 2DS XL with sky3ds+ stuck on red screen

Hi forum,

I recently bought a new Nintendo 2DS XL and sky3ds+ card- however, I am having troubles getting Ninjhax running :(
I copied the starter kit (3ds folder, boot.3dsx) to the root of the SD card (Sandisk Ultra 32gb) together with the cubic ninja game file.
After inserting the sd into the sky3ds+ and firing up cubic ninja, I scanned all the QR codes from smeas site (NEW 11.6.0-39E).
However, as soon as I go to the main menu of cubic ninja and navigate into the create / QR code again to...

I personally would have like to see a good mp3/flac player which can scrobble music to last.fm and a GBA emulator would be pretty cool too so I don't have to buy a flashcard for my SP.

SO I think I might've fucked something up
Everytime I boot my 3DS I get

"An exception has been made
Processor: ARM11(Core 1)
Exception type: prefetch abort(svcBreak)
Current Process: PM

Is there a way to fix this? Or did I just brick my 3ds?

Data Transfer

Hello, I am planning on buying a 2ds XL and I wanted to transfer the data from my o3ds to it. I have Luma CFW installed on the o3ds through ntrboot (I have the flashcart so I can install CFW on the 2dsXL once I buy it if necessary) but I cannot find a guide on transferring the save data, games and homebrew apps from an older device to a newer one. Is there a method available, or should I just individually transfer the save data and download the games and apps again?

It appears that users are being banned from 3DS online services, en masse. There's no direct cause right now, and seemingly no linking factor. This post is meant as an announcement for users, to be wary, and that GBAtemp will keep you updated as soon as more info rolls in. If you have been banned, please post in the thread below, and we will try to keep tabs on the situation. To be extra sure, it can't hurt to turn off your 3DS's wireless...

Hello all,

I've found this app on my AK2i and it plays the music file inside the ds file/game.

the file is called .sps and I'm not sure how this is achieved, but I was hoping that there is a sort off same program like this one.
to use it on 3DS games/apps

Hi, I actually working on a Geometry Dash clone, for now you can only test a debug level.
A level maker(through web browser), is available, go check the download page, inside the zip there is the website, you can launch it by yourself by clicking on index.html.
Or using it HERE (with the source).


Instruction for the level maker:
- Right click to remove
- Left click on button to select them
- click on save to...
