[WIP] amiibo Collection

Hello

I currently working on a Homebrew to register all your amiibo collection and browsing all existing amiibo.
I currently looking for some people to test the amiibo detection script, especially on n3DS(xl) and 2DS.

Thank's in advance if you can test it and at least answer this questions :

- 3DS Model ?
- Can you connect/disconnect the NFC reader/writer at anytime without problem ( no freeze, can reconnect and read an amiibo )
- Can you use the home menu button,...

It says to put the custom boot animation in the /anim/0 folder and the custom arm9loaderhax.bin on the root of the sd card which I did, but then asks to put the arm9payload.bin in the anim folder as well. What is this arm9payload?

Hi! I recently decided to get some badges on my 3ds, I have Luma CFW and have the GYTB cia installed to my 3ds. I ran it with PNG files at SD\3ds\GYTB\badges I get an error every time I try to load GYTB.

Error 79: Failed to open file for writing
WAAT IS WRONG WITH THE ELF. 0000004f

And then a crash. I'm not sure if I've missed something or if the application is no longer working.

Yeah, you read that right.
I have been working quite a bit on porting Desmume to the 3DS. As it stands, it:
Runs at a decent fps on N3DS and doesn't run on O3DS
Uses the SVN DeSmuME emulation core, ported to 3ds by @MasterFeizz

I can finally give this a release thread. This is "NTR Launcher". A stripped down optimized version of NitroHax but without the cheat code system. This simply launches the game you have in slot-1. Patched dev launcher required. Be sure you have game inserted before you start it. EDIT: Patched dev launcher no longer required for to use NTR Launcher! :D

What is GPUREG_ATTRIBBUFFERi_CONFIG0?

I've been looking at the portal3ds source code, and can't figure out what the GPUREG_ATTRIBBUFFERi_CONFIG0 register is for, as I can't find it in the internal registers page of 3dbrew. That being said, I suspect it to be an early define for GPUREG_ATTRIBBUFFERi_OFFSET.
But then, what's the difference between it
and GPUREG_VERTEX_OFFSET?

Any help is appreciated!!

Hi everyone, nice to see that the homebrew community is very much still thriving. The last time I was here downgrading was both a mandatory and risky process accompanying the CFW installation process.

Looking over a certain open source guide, it seems as though it isn't. Would this be true? Thanks so much in advance.

Injected FBI does not install CIAs

Hi,

I was changing from RxTools to a9lh and everything went smoothly until Section V - Injecting FBI of https://3ds.guide/. I injected the correct FBI file, but after launching the app, it won't install any CIA files. For example, when I try installing the FBI CIA I get result code 0xD9004589 with Summary: Wrong Argument (8).

Additional information: I restored the Rxtools backup using https://3ds.guide/move-emunand but I can't see any of the games. The folders are...

It's finally here.

Thanks to the work of ahezard, Gericom, Apache, Robz8, _catcatcat, and shutterbug2000, we can now load NDS games from the SD card, without any flashcard/SLOT-1 card.

As promised, a release is here, on Christmas/Christmas Eve.

Don't expect high compatibility or save support yet, but do expect many, many updates.

Is It Possible to Randomize A Pokemon DS Cardtridge using TWL Save Tool?

I have always wanted to randomize my Soulsilver cardtridge so I could play it anytime. Yesterday I stumbled across the TWL Save Tool which I could back up my Ds games Data with, so I found out a way in order to get a randomized Soulsilver Rom, Export the .sav file and put it onto my SD card and imported the save using TWL. Everytime I do this, the game Isnt randomized. The starters are normal, and the moves they have are normal as well. So I was wondering, Is there a way to do this and...

I developping a small amiibo application for 3ds.
Everything go fine to communicate with the NFC reader, reading appdata amiibo settings and config ...
but despite all my search and tests i don't found a way to get the identification block.

Unlucky, it's the only thing that i need for this application to identify the scanned amiibo.

I knew that only few developpers work on the NFC service but is...

I have rewritten am rewriting ye ol' CTR_Companion in C++ for extra stablity™, so it'll be more extensible, easier to maintain, and hopefully this way I could eliminate the stack- and memory corruption issues :D

Current features:
  • Dynamic file format support
  • Uses superior NDSP instead of CSND (requires DSP firmware dump)
  • Seamless track switching while the currently playing song is ending...
