How to get Homebrew 2018 (3ds)

Hey,
there are lots of tutorials and guides out there on how to get homebrew, but many of them I found were outdated, would anyone be kind enough to help me here, or guide me to a non outdated guide, the only reason I want homebrew is PKHax so if there is another way to get that or similar any help there would be appreciated.

Also is there is a better software then PKHax, or it is no outdated and would no longer work on either Pokemon Ultra Sun or Pokemon Moon then please tell me

Confused about New 3DS XL Hacking

Hello, so I've gotten very confused about the process of hacking my New 3DS Xl. On 3DS hacks guide for New 3DS It says for my version 11.6.0 I have to use the method boot9strap (DsiWare) , but I seen that other people said they used NTRBoot. I don't see NTRBoot boot listed as a method (Or maybe i'm just blind?) So am I able to do this safely? Or was it meant for the old 3DS XL? Sorry for Noob question!!

TWLSaveTool (v1.2)​

Thanks to the work of ahezard, Gericom, Apache, Robz8, _catcatcat, and shutterbug2000 and other contributors, we can now load NDS games from the SD card, without any flashcard/SLOT-1 card.

Don't expect high compatibility, but do expect many, many updates.

Ok here we go, something cool!

CIAngel is a homebrew program that downloads content from Nintendo's servers.
It can make a GOOD cia that will be able to be redownloaded, it will not interfere with eshop... etc.
You can install directly to your device, or create a cia on the sd card to install later.
You can install a ticket, which lets you redownoad the game via eshop. (This only works for games that are in your eshop = in your region)


This not not just my work, I have done a small part!...

So I have an idea of what I want to do with a project I'm planning, but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. Here is the walkthrough of what I want to do...

Start frame
Transfer texture(s) and vbos to vram (assuming changes were made since the last transfer)
Process a scene while the transfer is being done
Once scene is ready and transfer is done, render scene
(loop)If scene requires changes in textures/vbos within the same frame, then....
-make changes to texture(s) and vbos in FCRAM...

Install home themes from freeshop

I installed the dlc from the freeshop, and then I went to the theme shop and it said I had 651 more than the 100 allowed, so I deleted the DLC so the ticket remained and I could download whichever I wanted, but when I went again to the theme shop, I only had the one I claimed when I first bought the 3DS on the nintendo page (the NES Mario).
So, my question is, can I install the tickets somehow so I can install whichever I feel to have instead of searching for it online and so, or somehow I...

I am looking to homebrew my 3ds XL but I'm not sure how to go about it. I've found a few different ways but have not been successful. My 3ds is vers. 11.6.0-39U. It's an older version of the 3ds. I'm wanting to learn how to place ds and possibly (isn't required) 3ds games on my 3ds xl. Thank you for any information you have for me!

Note: this application has no on-screen controls. This is only for using external controllers via Bluetooth or USB (or built-in controls for those all-in-one gaming tablets).
