GameYob 3DS - GB/C emu

A port of GameYob to the 3DS - a Gameboy / Gameboy Color emulator.

There is a compatibility list here.

Usage
By default, it looks for roms in the /gb directory of your SD card (NOT gateway's microSD card). As always you can change this directory in gameyob.ini by editing these lines:

So I have Mame 2003 and Mame 2000 installed, but what are the games to get? I know there are thousands of Mame roms out there, like street fighter 2 etc, and older ones like pacman and galaga. So I know some roms are too new to run etc, so how would I know what is compatible

3DS 3D Slider doesn't work

So i got one of the 3ds i thought it was long dead working again by changing the battery(it got wet like a year ago)
i got everything set up with the least hacks and everything but the 3d slider doesn't work and displays 3d all the time i know you can use parental control to disable the 3d features but every time i pick a game it ask me if i want it to boot in 3d or 2d and that is kind of annoying also every time i want it change things like the wifi setup or play some games it ask me for...

How to use dosbox?

Alright I haven't used dos since I was like 10 years old, and don't remember what to type to load games. I have used dosbox on PC with a front-end loader I was able to use. But I have had it on a phone, didn't know how to load games, and now I have it for 3ds, and want to play old dos games. Is there a specific folder I need to create? And what would I type in to load the game.? And lol there is no c; drive on a 3ds so I don't know what to do

It's as the title says. I have seen some tutorials out there but they for some reason feel incomplete, so I thought I could ask here for a link to one, because there's probably one already on this site but I didn't see it. Also, where should the roms go now?

Help unbanning my 3DS without eshop access. (Error 005-5964)

I brought a New Nintendo 3DS XL that had been preowned. Upon opening the Nintendo E-shop, it gave me this error: (005-5964)
Nintendo Support wasn't any help, so I took matters into my own hands.

I came to the conclusion that it was a console ban, since trying to format the 3DS in system settings was no use and just gave me the same error. (005-5964)
Ultimately I ended up formatting the sysnand and emunand with TinyFormat, through the only entrypoint I have, that being stickerhax. But yet...

Help unbanning my 3DS without eshop access. (Error 005-5964)

Hey, yesterday I posted questions about keeping myself safe before I CFW my 3DS. Tomorrow, I'm getting a 32 GB SD and and I just have some last minute questions before I actuallly mod my 3DS.

-If I do get banned from my 3DS, will I be banned from my switch because my accounts are linked?
-Will I still be able to use Pokemon Bank? I'm worried that I will get banned from using the internet if Bank detects other Pokemon games like Rising Ruby and Sinking Sapphire.
-What do I need to do to...

Hello, I have currently homebrewed my Wii U and I have a spare 3DS which isn't doing anything.

I have some questions regarding the homebrewing of a 3DS.

1. What is the most accurate guide for homebrewing a 3DS/N3DS XL
2. Does it matter if it is a 3DS or N3DS
3. What SD card is suggested and biggest size?
4. Is it possible to brick my console through this and how to prevent it?

BootCTR setup help

I just installed cfw using the guide on the site, and i have GW Emunand in my sd card as well. I want to install and use BootCTR with my cfw so everytime i turn on the console to bootup automatically in GW Emunand and if i hold down the L button while i bootup it will go to luma cfw. Can someone help how to do it?

FBI Error (Noob Question?)

So I recently put CFW on my 3DS (sys 11.7.0)

however, i installed a anemone cia and it worked fine but when i powered off my 3ds to put the hblauncher cia it wasnt on the homescreen
but now for any cia i try to install i get the error
Failed to install CIA file.
Result Code: 0xC8E08001
Level: Status (25)
Summary: Invalid argument (7)
Module: AM (32)
Desc: <unknown> (1)

Is there any fix for this?


EDIT: When I try to install a CIA I never installed before I now get the error:
