Again for those who still own old 3DS/2DS or still care about the 3DS :P (it's been rather quiet here)... and if you still want to enjoy Sega MD games on your Old 3DS/2DS at full speed:

This is a port of notaz's PicoDrive emulator to the old 3DS / 2DS. Although PicoDrive is already highly optimized for ARM processors, if ported as is, it still doesn't run full speed for all Mega Drive games on the old 3DS / 2DS, as it's evident in the RetroArch's...

I have a old 3ds with 11.7.0 40u and it has luma (cfw) how do I use homebrew on it? Homebrew loader I have installed but it can't do certain things homebrew can do.

I personally would have like to see a good mp3/flac player which can scrobble music to last.fm and a GBA emulator would be pretty cool too so I don't have to buy a flashcard for my SP.

@Shubshub has been nagging me for ages to hop onto the 3DS Homebrew scene.
@Another World is always banging on about it on Twitter.
@spinal_cord says I'm late to the party, and.. well.. they're all right.

CycloDS Evolution on 3DS?

Hi everyone!

So I was wondering if there's any way to get the old CycloDS Evolution card to work on the 3DS?

I'm currently using an N3DS XL with A9LH+Luma. I also have NTR set up.

I've seen mention of the TWL loader, but I've yet to see anything that mentions using it with the CycloDS Evolution. Mind you this is the older card, so it's not the DSi version.

If anyone has any info that might be able to help me I'd be greatly appreciative.

FreeShop Error

Everytime I go into FreeShop, in the first 30 seconds it tells me 'An error has accoured,forcing into restart'

This also happens with other homebrew applications.

Hi all just received my hacked 2ds I didn't want to do all the modding myself due to small people bugging the crap out of me if I even try.. Kids.. Lol

Anyway I'm just now surfing freeshop for the first time.. Which is amazing props to all that made it happen.

I used to mods wii and psp back in the day and only just decided it was time to get a ds and play some old games with my son..

But the first 20mins of region free searches on freeshop came back pretty disappointing.. Castlevania...

Is there a way to request games to be added to freeshop?

Transferring a Powersave BIN file to a digital copy of a Pokemon OR game without a cartridge

Hello all,
I successfully hacked my new 3ds XL with Luma CFW up to the current version. I USED to have a cartridge version of Pokemon Omega Ruby but I have no idea where it went so I basically lost it. I do have the powersave bin files from when I used to back my data up and mess with the game a little.
I was wondering if it was in any way possible to take one of those save files from powersaves and inject it into a digital copy of Omega Ruby (from freeshop)?

Ok, so I'm asking for a friend here, so here's the problem we're facing.

I had my friend set up with Homebrew not so long ago, but she foolishly ignored my advice not to update to 11.4 and did so anyway.

All she wants to do is edit pokemon in Sun and Moon, but currently all she has access to is Powersaves and PKHex. The problem is the backup saves made by Powersaves are not compatible with PKHex. I was wondering if there is a converter that will allow them to work with PKHex. I saw one...

PKHex + Powersaves? Is it possible?

Upgrade from Luma 7.0.5

I attempted to update Luma and it failed (obviously) so I looked for a guide to do it manually. I think I used a guide that's too new because it didn't work.

Holding start does nothing.
Holding select brings me to Luma 7.0.5
Putting godmode.firm as my boot.firm does nothing so I'm pretty sure I'm still on a9lh but can't hook current builds of godmode or d9s installer.

Is there a way to install d9s from FBI or old godmode without using luma payloads?

I've always thought Nintendo's placement of the L/R and ZL/ZR is backwards from everyone else, and I don't like it. when i go in my shantae and press x+y i dont see a gameplugins option
ive got a new 3ds xl
im on the latest update b9s
the folder on the root of my sd card is called "plugins"
and i put the shantae code in it

I've seen a bunch of tutorials around talking about extracting your saves and decrypting via a couple different 3DS save managing homebrews that require several steps, and imo are a bit more complicated that necessary. Here's the method I'm using that is waaay easier, and fyi I'm using a legit NTSC US 3DS retail cart version of Pokemon Sun. I've used the same method with my digital version of Pokemon Y so I see no reason why it shouldn't work with the digital versions of Sun & Moon....

Checkpoint saves not appearing

i just got my system back from the Big N after sending it in for repairs. before that i backed up all my saves, and have them copied back to the sd card. but now i'm booting up checkpoint, and it doesn't see my backups anymore. i tried running one game to create a save file, but even that isn't detected by checkpoint
