NTR communication with TCP socket

I'm currently working on my own RAM editor software that work on PC and connect to the 3ds , like tcp Gecko. I'm using the ntr file modified by @Nanquitas to start a connection, but I have no idea of which type of information I have to send/receive for read/write value, send cheats, ...
There is somewhere I can find informations about ? I have not found anything with googles research (maybe I'm a bad researcher ?)

Hello there, I was trying to unban 002-0121 error on my 2ds with PaperBro64's tutorial

When i startup DecryptWIP this error happens. What did i wrong at installing DecryptWIP (I'm noob at 3ds cfw stuff :wacko:)

Well, i haven't played on my 3ds for a pretty long time. Today i tought, Hey ! Why not ?
So i'm switching it on, a pop up saying an update is ready. What my dumb mind says ? Yeah sure.
Now i'm stuck with a : "An error has occurred : Failed to apply 1 FIRM patch(es). Press any button to shutdown"




Is my 3ds dead ? ;_;

I personally would have like to see a good mp3/flac player which can scrobble music to last.fm and a GBA emulator would be pretty cool too so I don't have to buy a flashcard for my SP.

I am trying to play Super Mario Maker and connect to online, and I need the update for the game. When I go to the store to update the game, I get "An error has occurred Please try again later."

I tried installing an update via a .cia file, but it still didn't work

This is a save manager you can install as a CIA. This means no more booting into the homebrew menu and rebooting to import and export saves.

Testing has shown that it doesn't appear to have any problems with any titles. Thanks to @Gocario, it will automatically delete any secure values.
It can also export and import ExtData IF the title uses it.

I've made it as simple as I can, while keeping the slot feature from my old save manager.

Hello, I'm still fairly new to homebrewing 3ds's. My first venture with my old 3ds and soundhax went well, and I was able to use the SNES9x emulator to play LoZ:ALttP randomizer for several months on it. Unfortunately, the B button partly stopped working recently (curse my sweaty hands). I have to press it hard in the middle of the button for it to work, so it still works for installing OoTHax, just not regular gaming.

Does anyone have the updated OOT3DHax payloads? Because I don't think yellow8 will update considering the fact that he hasn't updated since last year. I have no entrypoint what so ever as I had made the mistake of updating my 3DS to 11.7 from 11.5. My NNID is banned so I can't use the eshop therefore I can't use the steeldiver sub wars exploit which is why my only option is the oot3dhax method for 11.7, because I own that game physically.

I have installed SDL 1.2 for devkit pro. My problem is that I don't know how to link the file my project. Could someone help me out by providing a makefile with some example code? Or just tell me how to get it working?

Frogminer not working HELP!

Hello i'm following a guide using frogminer after the steelminer and I came across 2 issues
1. when I try to make the patch in DSIHaxInjector I get the red dot that i think means it didn't work
2. when I use a blue one from a youtubers frogminer says "8A0831 FAILED!"
what is wrong with it when i search the code on google I find nothing does frogminer still work? IMG_20181105_231320.jpg

hi, I tried literally everything. my cia files are filled with random garbage now, I tried on my spare 3ds which is updated to 9. something and my other spare but newer 3ds which is updated to 11.8, both had this error.

"An exception occured

and a lot of other crap I don't think I can type off anymore since I'm reading this off my 3DS screen.

I've got my first N2DSXL console ever a couple of days ago, and I was trying to read all the info on the topic of Homebrew emulator and CFW, I've been totally overwhelmed and I would like to ask some more direct question to better understand this new world:

- The same exploits and methodologies used to "hack" the 3DS are valid for the 2DS?

- What is a better method of installing a CFW on the latest firmware? Frogminer or Seedminer?

- I've seen that Nintendo bans console that installs CFW,...

Unofficial Citra Android app does not recognize 3ds roms

I downloaded the app on my phone and took hours downloading a decrypted 3ds ROM file to my sd card to try the app.
Sadly, whenever I open the app and go to the folder where the ROM is located, the rom does not appear, as if the app does not recognize it being there.
Has anyone else experienced this issue, and do you know how to fix it? I know my phone probably can't run it but I'm too damn curious to just give up here.

One day, I was messing with trying to get some custom badges on my New 2DS XL (Why is GYTB so hard to use? ). However... when I turned on my 2DS, my usual Luma3DS splash screen didn't show. I tried heading to the Homebrew Launcher, only for my 2DS to crash. I tried L+X, my standard Luma3DS menu combination, but to no avail. L+R+Start didn't work either. I can still boot the my 2DS no problem, and GodMode9 as well as Luma Config worked. EVERYTHING works except the splash screen and anything...
