Where to start? New 3DS XL - Ver. 11.6.0-39U
Hey all,
Just purchased a New 3DS XL that's running version 11.6.0-39U and am wondering where to start. My main goal is to be able to play games "obtained" from the internet, whether that be from the freeshop or another source doesn't really matter to me. The 3ds.hacks.guide says 11.6 users should use a flashcart. Is that my only option? Or should I update the firmware to 11.8 and do the boot9strap (Seedminer) method? Any advice would be great. I'm new to the scene am would appreciate...

DLC issue with hacked 3DS
Hey, not sure if this is allowed here or not, but I hacked my EU 3DS some months back (for the note, I'm in the US....pal sent me this 3DS for nothing in exchange....but that's an irrelevant story.
Anywho, hacked the 3DS and got some CIAs to work on it (for the record, I'm NOT asking for cias or sites where I can get them or any sort of distribution like that) and although the games work flawlessly, the DLC cias are a different story.
Here's the story for 3 games I tried the DLC for:

Running ZXDS emulator on TWLoader++ with Luma 3DS ?
Hi
I'm having trouble running the ZXDS emulator on my O3DS with Luma3DS installed. I got TWLoader++ so that I can run .nds files from my cfw 3DS without a flashcart and it just doesn't get past the splash screen. Ie "ZXDS is starting up". I'm assuming that's what TWLoader++ is supposed to do, run DS homebrew and backups without the need of a flashcart.

[Release] Luma3DS CFW payload for those who broke their "L" or "R" button
All credits goes to Luma3DS CFW developer and those who helped me to compile this freaking CFW, i haven't done much except editing one line in a .h file. (and write "make" in a cmd prompt)
Luma v8.0 commit 52a1883 : (i will update them, for sure !)

essential.exefs is missing
Hello guys i decided to backup my sysNAND in my old 2ds because i don't want to bricked when i trying to unban my 2ds
anyway I backuped my SysNAND successfully on Godmode9 but the problem is essential.exefs isn't in my gm9/out folder
is that normal ? (My 2ds version is 11.8 and luma3ds version is 9.1)

Retroarch Won't Detect 3DS Games
I finally modded my 3ds so I can makes files of my 3ds games to play in retroarch. After I make a file of my 3ds game I scan for the file using retroarch but it won't detect the game. By the way I'm trying to make a file of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. Why won't retroarch detect my file. Sorry if I'm not giving enough detail.

so i got the 3dsx for 3desmume and ran it on homebrew and after i launched it there's just a black screen and no menu to choose a rom ☹ can someone tell me how to load a rom on 3desmume please?

Detective Pikachu Cappucci island save?
The trailer for the movie just came out and i am so excited for it; enough so that i wanna finish detective pikachu. Sadly though, i lost my save when i switched from a hard drive to an ssd. Are there any saves out there that are towards the beginning of Cappucini island? Is there a save editor or cheat device i can use to skip there?
