Hey so is there other ways to transfer files between your computer and 2DS except than putting the sd card into the computer? The 2DS has the latest Luma too.

I have just buy a micro sd card for my Nintendo 3DS since micro sd card i have it's only 2GB and the one i buy and it's getting inn mail are 32GB and i'm going to try jailbreak my Nintendo 3DS but i have a question about it.
1. Do i need to jailbreak my Nintendo 3DS for to transfer 3DS roms from PC to 3DS?
I reason I ask it's because we can't use Freeshop anymore.

I have an R4i and obviously it doesn't work cuz 11.8... and I want to play my DS games on the 3DS!
My question is: how do I install cia's?
The reason I'm asking that is because I found a way to bypass the R4i block: There's a cia that boots into the original DS bios and lets you run the flashcart from there!
I've tried 2 ways of install steelhax
One of them failed to load
The other one.... I couldn't continue with the tutorial
Please, is there a way to get homebrew for free AND install...

Luma Config Help
So I my 3ds got soaking wet at one point. I immediately took the back off and took out the battery (didn't take a while since I have a case over the back so I don't screw the screws in). Then I put it in rice for a while. About a week later I take it out and try to turn it on and it boots godmode 9 then any button presses shut it down. So I went on the sd card and moved the payload somewhere else and tried again. It loaded this time (the screen constantly scrolls left though but it doesn't...

We need a best of homebrew thread
With the 3DS coming to a near end we should have a list of suggested or voted for Homebrew programs, like an essential list so that other people that come later can find it.
For example I would say the 3ds shutdown button and wifi toggle button should be on an essential list for Homebrew.
I know there's some competing emulators or builds but we could always list them all and what the pros and cons are.
I'm not up to date on 3ds homebrew but I do believe there's some underrated homebrew...

Problem loading home-brew apps (crashes at yellow screen)
ok, so I have a original 3ds (11.8.0-41u), and I followed this video step by step to get homebrew/acnl hacks, and it worked perfectly, I don't think that's the problem, but I just wanted to give you context.
So, I thought to myself, "Hey, why not take this one step further?" So long story short, I try to set my SD card up to get chmm2, right? Well... It keeps crashing on a yellow screen when I try to open it up.

I am a newbie to the whole homebrew scene but it has been going well due to how well I see the community sticking together. I had a question. I wish to use CHT files on my SNES9X emulator but I have zero idea where to place my files at to do it with. I installed it as a CIA file using FBI. If anyone knowledgeable can help find where I might be able to find it I thank you ahead of time!

I have a lot of questions about FBI
ok, so I'm running off of a o3ds 11.8, and I'm also new to the homebrew scene, to give you context. And from what I'm gathering, .cia's, act basically like .wad files on the Wii. So in order to get FBI (Which is a cia aparantly), I need Luma3ds, and to get that, I need to get a R4 cart? Because I don't got that kind of money.
I'm really confused, and all the YouTube tutorials I found are just people with their shaky phone cameras.
