Remember the homebrew I did almost a year ago which used the power saving mode on a new3DS to make the screen more red? Yeah, me neither It had many problems, almost everything got rid of the effect, and it only worked on new3DS in power saving mode because the old3DS lacks the required hardware. Also, the flicker caused me headaches, so I stopped the project there.

I know this exists for Flashcarts (not all but some) but is this possible with TWLLauncher++ (since most games can now be natively played through a .nds file)
(Reason I ask is I get some people may like the whole DSi menu port thingy but I find it unnecessary and the load-time without intro is stupidly long)

I've been working on a new project recently, called Sharkive: it's a Gateshark code manager that will be compatible with one of the features that are waiting for being approved in Luma3DS.

It has a simple interface and automatically scans your titles and the database on Github to check if there are codes compatible with your games, and downloads them in the right place in your sd card if you want them....

Hello! I got an used New 2DS and just found out it had been hacked before by turning the console on with the select button pressed, it shows the Luma3DS v9.0 screen. Since it is already hacked I thought I'd enjoy the benifits of it but I quickly found out it is not just that simple.

If I understood what I've read so far correctly, I need to access the homebrew launcher but I can't figure out how to or even if it is installed. I tried the option 'Switch the hb. title to hblauncher_loader'...

Hello,
ive tried to get homebrew on an old 2ds console version 11.5 using ntrboot , the method which includes using a dsi and a acekard 2i.
Ive literally followed the steps on 3ds.guide correctly and when I get to the step of booting into hack by pressing start + select + power + x the 2ds just displays a blue light but when I release the buttons it displays nothing on the screen and the blue light just fades out. Any help?

i need help, i have luma (9.1) and sharkive on my 3ds (o3ds) and when i use codes like shiny pkmn (start l) when active it doesnt do anything any ideas why? do i need gateway 3ds? also i'm running the shiny code on vers 1.2 pokemon ultra moon.

I don't understand why I can't find an answer to this.

I'm trying to "randomise" Ultra Sun, which according to all tutorials I've found needs a CXI file obtained from the TMD file of a game using GodMode9.

But TMD files only show up for downloaded games, not physical game cards. I only have the option of getting a vague encrypted/decrypted file or a CIA file.

How do people manage to do this?

Over the last year, or so, I've been working on a library for easier 3DS-homebrew development. It's fully written in C++11 and supports sound, graphics and more. Keep in mind, that this library is still in beta. So, if you find any bugs or have any issues, please report them via GitHub.

Hi guys first sorry for my english .

I just made a gaming pc with ryzen 5 2600 /rx 580 8gb and a 16ram to replace my 10years old dinosaur.

I want to ask some questions about the best way to run 3ds games on my pc.

1)is the Citra the most stable emulator?
2)is there like a list with games that run from start to finish without major problems ?
3)I mostly asking about some exclusives like link between and fire emblem awaking. Anyone else in similar position actually finish these games?...

When going to the eshop with pirated games, if you view one of the illegitimate games in eshop (ex. Luigis Mansion), it asks for you to go to an update page.

When you go to the update page for Luigis Mansion, it wants you to download an update thats the exact same size of the game (about 220 MB). Should I install this update?

Some illegitmate games I have when viewed in the eshop say "Up to date," but the other half want me to install an update thats the same size as the game.

I'm looking to get rid of needing a backlit-modded GBA to play GB/GBC/GBA games. I have a DS Lite which has a nice screen, but since the pixels are smaller than on a GBA the game image looks smaller. For GBA games I could live with the DS Lite, but not really for GB/GBC games.

For GB/GBC games in particular I know that you can inject them into the official emulator, but I'd like to avoid the time it takes to do that for each title. Instead I am wondering if, having not kept up with the 3DS...

I personally would have like to see a good mp3/flac player which can scrobble music to last.fm and a GBA emulator would be pretty cool too so I don't have to buy a flashcard for my SP.
