I just did the CFW guide for the New 2DS XL and absolutely appreciate all the people involved with making this possible. I've spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars over the years on my Nintendo accounts which I'm sure are now lost due to hardware ties with Nintendo ID's. My question has probably been asked before, but I haven't really found this exact question:

Is there anyway for DS ROMS of Pokemon to be recognized by Pokemon Bank? Obviously .cia files isn't the issue....

Hey everyone,

I kinda hate the 3DS's camera app. Even after I upgraded to a 3ds in 2011 I kept my DSi around just to fiddle with its camera app. Is it possible to install the DSi camera app onto the 3DS? Surely it's just a simple DSiWare title that's preinstalled standard in the system files, right?

Can you connect GBA games on a 3DS to a GameCube game on a Wii/Wii U?

As we know we can
Play GBA games on the 3DS.
Play GameCube games on the Wii/Wii

Anyway with said emulators they can connect like the GameCube - Game Boy Advance link cable except wirelessly like how the 3DS and Wii connects?

I personally would have like to see a good mp3/flac player which can scrobble music to last.fm and a GBA emulator would be pretty cool too so I don't have to buy a flashcard for my SP.

Remember the homebrew I did almost a year ago which used the power saving mode on a new3DS to make the screen more red? Yeah, me neither :P It had many problems, almost everything got rid of the effect, and it only worked on new3DS in power saving mode because the old3DS lacks the required hardware. Also, the flicker caused me headaches, so I stopped the project there.

Well, now I fully reverse-engineered a GPU register which controls this, and thus I recreated the old design based on the...

I have minecraft CIA and this is the only game that does this.

I updated my 3ds using the new guide however when I try to play this game I get the message

"this is new nintendo 3d software it cannot be used on this system"

Do I need to do something else? I there a way I can play new 3ds games on the old 3ds?

Edit: there is redshift available for old3DS and new3DS, use that instead, as it doesn't get reset, and has a higher quality and more features! You're looking for CTR_Redshift!

Features
  • change screen brightness individually, even outside the allowed limits (screen toast warning!)
  • (new3DS only) color corrector hardware config for f.lux-like effect

Hi! I have been trying to get models from Mario Party Top 100, but the files are in a zdat file format. I read some other threads about this and it turns out they're just bch files compressed with zlib. I have also tried to extract them with quickbms, but instead I got bunch of bmdl and bmfa files. I checked them with SPICA and some of the bmdl(s) are animations and one of them was the actual model, but I would like to convert the zdat files as bch so I can convert the animations for my...

I tried doing exactly what It said and restarting the app. Didn't work, I get the same screen. Yes, I am on the latest Luma. I'm pretty sure I've posted about this issue here before but I can't find the post. Help is appreciated.

Here's some 100% Savegames I worked on that can be imported to your 3DS using JKSM.
It took me a while to dump these but it was worth sharing with the community that has helped me so much!

UPDATE 10/22/2018

Edited the Luigi's Mansion save.
Now it really is 100%. All platinum portraits, all achievements,
all mansion ranks achieved, both hidden and normal mansions
completed with 50 boos and all portrait ghosts.
